Little tip. Use a recip saw instead of an angle grinder they are amazing. You can cut straight through from underneath no problem.

One of the best chassis and engine bmw made. Misha ( known youtuber on nurnburing ) got smashed by a 130i while he was driving a rs3. you just need lsd, lca m3 for arms and coilovers

Misha is fast but he's not the fastest. If you want the very best you take a bmw chassis and drop a Japanese engine in it. Then you have perfection.

Deleting the intake silencer with a Mishimoto silicon hose (or other brand,) is worthwile if you are looking for a little more intake sound as well :)

Living in some of Europe is like living in California. All of this work for meh, and it doesn't even help performance.... I have cats and mufflers on my V8 and it is over 90dB at idle but quiet inside because of it being a tested system and being a good car with deadening. I feel sad for the areas who have strict rules on car modifications. They are usually sad areas to live for fun in any hobby. Exhaust drone is from exaust noise IN the exhaust that escapes through vibrations. Drone is never a thing with a quality setup, thicker walls, and/or better materials. I always get asked about drone in my car, and I tell them that if you get a full tested exhaust, there is none, and if you get a muffler swap, the drone doesn't change.

You do not want low-frequencies in your exhaust when you drive as the low frequencies are hard to counteract with sound deadening techniques, and large flat body panels can amplify it.

I think that’s the last thing any of them would want to do mate - they all left because the current CT management royally screwed the old lot over - TDC and ATG being a part of that. No-one in the AutoAlex umbrella wants CT to do well, and understandably so.

Such a shame to see a channel with so many subscribers getting such low viewing figures nowadays. Need to get some better (actually funny) presenters and bring back the proper quality car throttle content. Changing the backbox and the grilles on an old 1 series doesn’t really cut it for Friday evening upload on a channel with 3 million subscribers, although it might have had 10 times the views if the presenters who have since gone were still around. Sort it out, don’t let the channel die!
