Joe used to stay in Clydebank, near Glasgow in Scotland. He married a women from Glasgow I believe and has either sons or extended family still in Scotland. God bless Joe Heaney. A genius. A voice from Heaven itself.

Well, I certainly believe Robin Williamson and his comment about Joe and his sharing a stage at the Sydney Opera House. I presented them both as part of the Larrikin Festival of Folklife Series in the 1980s.
