I always said that about where I’m from in NY that good thing the gang culture isn’t like it is in other places. Yea they go hard and stand on biz where I’m from but you deff able to grow up and part ways with the lifestyle and nobody bat an eye or really care as long as you ain’t foul out. Other places not going for that. Once you gang you gang for life and ain’t even no thought of going on the right path 💯 I always knew I was lucky to be from an area like that. I forgot what video it was but someone was in an interview and said they homie got jumped and the homie mom went and got the set. That’s when it registered how deep gang culture is in Cali. The rest of the world picked it up just to bang but the majority of them REALLY started out like the black panthers etc. so it’s waaaayyyy deeper then just a color or a name.

Gang bangin being a culture is crazy cos gangs that we know today is new historically speaking & its not the same as it was . Its the lowest form of community basically foot soldiers & crab in a bucket situation. People are supposed to outgrow that gang bangin mentality & try build rather than destroy which we have seen in the 80s & 90s & 00s

I be glad when Black people around the country see each other as a tribe instead of a gang subculture. We as a people are much bigger than any gang, north, south, east, midwest, and west. Until we reach this point as a people we will stay stagnant.

No, we're better off as seeing ourselves as people and get over the skin color thing. People are much more successful when they don't focus on nonsense. This all come together and love each other thing isn't ever going to happen and the people who focus on skin color are usually taking advantage of the people for profit and making the situation worse

See Flakko has a fixed mindset. It’s hard for him to compartmentalize his astute intelligence when he has to be flexible in his own self righteousness. It’s really almost sociopathic; his inability to tap into the emotional state of an individual choosing to shoot em up bang bang.. by reason of his new found enthusiasm of “taking a fade” .. the logistics of a fade make sense to him because it’s been impressed upon him that “win, lose, or draw.. he took that fade” which isn’t threatening to his complex, it’s a win even if he still loses.. it’s really hard to sway a mind barricaded by logical guard rails. That’s why he couldn’t make the cut as a banger. He can’t dial up the emotionally aggressiveness, anger, and curiosity a gang banger possesses.

This bul Flacco flip flapping them gums not making sense, he grew up in Darby Pa, outside of Philly ask him how come Philly just as violent as LA and we stopped Gang Culture from late 1970s and don’t got Bloods n Crips. Gang’s ain’t the problem it’s poverty, lack of education, lack of opportunities and destruction of the Black family and community.

I thought he was from S Dakota somewhere. The thing is…He stay in Cali, and has said other times that a lot of the ish they’re doing is unnecessary self inflicted self sabotage in LA in particular. You can’t project onto LA “street ish” based off of why street ish go on in Philly. If you ever lived in So Cal. You’d know the difference and what their problem is…it really ain’t the same.
