Kayfabe, your passion, talent and knowledge is beyond legit and it comes through in every video. I’m in my late forties and every episode is a time traveling treat back to my youth. You guys do amazing work, thank you.

Jim Lee's & Whilce Portacio's Punisher looks soo much like Dolph Lundgren; prolly why he's still my favorite on-screen Punisher.

Carl Potts is a super cool guy with a ton of great stories and comic knowledge. He also loves to talk. I'd love to see you guys do a shoot with him.

I’ve always seen a lot of Howard Chaykin and Kevin Nowlan in Jim’s faces back than.

Always felt like Carl Potts was a bit underrated. Wrote some NASTY Punisher stories, played to Jim Lee’s strengths (War Journal had a bit of a high-tech edge, compared to regular Punisher) Any idea why Potts did breakdowns, and what that meant? Why did Lee “need” that?

I jumped on to Punisher War Journal around issue #18 but bought a TPB containing these 2 issues which I read over and over. This story is easily my favourite Jim Lee work.

Brontosaurus was de-classified then RE-classified as a real dinosaur a few years back. So it's legit again!

Bought #7 as a kid at a 7-11 down the street! And I was buying Classic X-Men at the same store at that time. I started going to a newsstand later that same year.

Read the Italian version back in the day and those early Punisher were all printed in black and white! I think the inking looses its punch in colour. Glad to have read those Lee and Portacio's Punisher in black and white

There are very few covers I like from this period and onward (not counting ones by Perez, Byrne and any artists from my time). But BOTH of these two covers definitely are very cool! Within a couple years of Punisher's creation we were expecting these two guys to fight "any month now". Daredevil, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Cap, Kraven and Shang-Chi were assumed opponents of Castle's. Not sure how many of those finally happened, but I hope they got covers worthy of them, like Lee gave to these.

Hell yeah, Amazon just dropped off my The Crow hardcover and the bois have a new video, this is my kinda lunchbreak! Plus the Punisher in daisy dukes, what more do you need.

They're not doing Pinburgh anymore, so I guess I won't be visiting Pittsburgh for a while. Used to get so excited flying in for the tournament. When you see the football guy and the t-rex you know it's time to party.

I have this 90s reprint with In one book. This dude had a video store selling some 90s comics and some were brand new. Sadly years ago he closed down. I Bought some sick image books and marvel books from him. The owner told me he owned a comic book shop around my area but the LA riots happened and his shopped got flocked and took him awhile to recover. He had a son that created a indie comic but I forgot ... i wish i kept his number....

I absolutely love these issue deep dives. Sensational stuff. A humble request if you ever have a chance, I would love to get your dissection of Wolverine #90 (1988 series), vs Sabretooth. Cheers

Eh, sorry to be that guy, but...pretty sure Jim Lee drew Wolverine in a issue or two of Alpha Flight before this. This certainly beats those though!
