They were in four episodes. Mommy Fearest: The Professor and the PPGs are watching them at the beginning. Hot Air Buffoon: Buttercup and Bubbles are playing Puppet Pals video game. Ploys R Us: They can be seen in plushies in the background. Powerprof: The Professor and PPGs go to the theater to see their 3D movie, Movie Puppet Pals, but it gets interrupted by a monster. I heard a rumor years ago they had considered doing the Justice Friends as a spin off series but Dexters Lab "ending" after season 2 and then being revived before dying again lead to them dropping the idea of the spin off series. I dont how serious the idea was though.

Wasn't Dexter spotted as a cameo in the girl's called during nap time? And if we wanna stretch it in Nick's "Nina & the count" Nina's doll looked like a PPG but that's more of a joke due to Nina's voice actress playing the same part. And since monkey was Dexter's pet I guess mentioning him with the justice friends is pointless.

not really, Ebay was a big deal in the 90s and there were specialty stores you could order random stuff from (especially nerdy things like collectors items and memorabilia) in the 90s as well. The idea of buying just about anything from the internet just didnt really become widely available until the 2000s. My dad used to buy and sell memoribilia and cars online starting in the 90s and my uncle was one of the people who started using Ebay really early, buying and selling stuff he got at thrift stores, yard sales, and estate sales (mainly collectables, designer clothes, and valuable antiques for pennies on the dollar) and then selling it on collectors sites and Ebay starting in the mid 90s.

@@SpencerJ289 I'm not 100%, but he did that starting in the mid 90s when they first got started. He was also involved in the Dot Com bubble, he built some sites and also had his own site for selling some stuff. In the 90s he was like the gay guys you saw in sitcoms at the time, super obsessed with fashion, antiquing, and designing. He went to a ton of estate sales and bought antique furniture that youd have a hard time selling on Ebay back then (craigslist style sites were rare then) so he sold some of that on his own site too and used it for hosting some of his Ebay stuff as well. He died when I was a kid but my dad inherited some of the stuff hed been selling and it was pretty cool, my dad didnt get much but there was a handmade art deco silk rug that's roughly 10x30ft from the 30s and he managed to get tons of stuff like that. You used to he able to find the coolest stuff at thrift stores and estate sales before Amazon, Etsy, and all the auction reality shows made people realize they had alot of valuable junk

Look either way, we have seen more Crimson Chin and Catman on the Fairly Oddparents then we have seen Crash Nebula. Wether if the issue was that he already had a super hero show running (Danny Phantom), doesn’t mean he can’t pitch another that is more comic book based. Heck Catman would be another parody of Batman much like how Disney’s Darkwing Duck was back in the early 90’s. And if the issue was money to hire either of these actors to do the voice over for Crimson Chin or Catman, they can always recast. I mean Butch could do an origin story for Crimson Chin or Catman just like he did with Crash Nebula. Start them out younger. I’m just saying if a spin off series from the Fairly Oddparents would have happened, it seemed those ideas would be a better outcome then your third rate idea that had no thought put into it.

I loved seeing them all as roommates. I actually kind of wanted to see that sort of stuff in the Justice League, they touched on the interpersonal relationships a bit and about the conflict that can arise with a ton of heroes all sharing a space station and working together, and we saw a bit of the same in the X-Men shows. I would love to see what life would be like if a bunch of super heroes had to share a base, house, or apartment together. Batman fighting crime during the night but getting woken up by Superman, Superman taking forever to get his hair to curl perfectly, the Flash eating all the food, stuff like that.

Completely passed over my head as a kid but I love how Reptar is not only a reference to Godzilla as a character but throughout the entire run of Rugrats it's also a slight jokey homage to Godzilla as a media franchise. On the first appearances of Reptar he is shows as much more destructive and ambiguous like the original godzilla but immediately within the show it becomes a much kid friendly and overly merchandidable ip in the same way Godzilla became much more popular with kids in japan, toning down some of it's original messages and tone

Reptar was solid and I always enjoyed in the Rugrats game Search for Reptar you got to stop around the city as Reptar going full Godzilla. I also really enjoyed The Justice Friends and Mokey as they were great because while I was aware that certain characters in Justice Friends were references to some Marvel and DC heros pretty much every character in the Justice Friends was a reference so going back and watching them really hits home with just how filled it was. Then you had Monkey which was equally great because the episodes were cool and inventive and while Mokey may possibly be a reference to another super herk he is by far the strongest hero in the Dextar's Lab verse because on several occasions he has helped defeat the strongest villains when others have failed, my favorite was Rasllor as he was voiced by the late Randy Savage and seemed like if Thanos was a pro wrestler as he took out everyone only to respect Monkey's determination and said how marvelous he was. Truly a great series for sure.

You could have added the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 series to this too, as each season had the turtles following a different cartoon series. Here's what they watched. - Space Heroes Which was based off of the sixties "Star trek" cartoon and imitated the animation of that series to a T. It also showed Leonardo as being a MAJOR Trekkie, despite the fact that that series "Captain Kirk" is an egotistical coward. - Super Mecha Robo Force Five Which was a definite nod to Anime series such as "Voltron" and Settai series such as "Power Rangers" - Crognard the barbarian Which combines eighties cartoon series such as "Thundarr", "He-Man" and "Thundercats" again aping the animation perfectly. This one showed how Michelangelo basically is like every super fan of the series, as when that series ended in a way he didn't approve of, he edited the VHS tape of the episode to actually alter the ending. - Chris Bradford's 2ruff crew Which aped "Chuck Norris Karate Commandos" with a healthy dose of "Rambo the cartoon" and "The A-team" thrown in. - Space Heroes the next generation. I guess I don't need to explain that one.
