I'm probably not the only one to say this, but pausing the game provides you some helpful information. You can mouse over the units attacking the next night and figure out how to prepare better. In case we see more Thronefall videos, I hope that helps ya, Toonz

Another tip is: hitting left Alt shows what you can build or upgrade so instead of him running around and going over each thing you can see from a far

Funny how Toonz struggled with the witches, purely cause he chose the Golem over the Support Mage.

Great game, glad to see you doing more playthroughs. A few control tips though (1) Hold the alt key to see what buildings can be built, (2) to see info on incoming units enter the pause menu and (3) when positioning soldiers hold the RMB down longer to force units to stand their ground.

The lightning staff is actually pretty good for dealing with the flying units since it can hit multiple targets at once. Its not so good against those tank things on the ground though.

Tips for future runs: 1. Hold Alt to show all building zones and what can be built in them. Great for getting a quick overview to help plan out your base / economy. 2. Go to the menu to see information on the next wave of enemies. Choose the appropriate defensive units / towers. (Hunters for monsters, knights against archers etc) 3. Menu also shows what night you're on, this helps you not waste money investing in late game economy and with timing blacksmith upgrades. 4. Fire archers and Berserkers are great for siege units. Mills have a scarecrow option when built. Gives each field a strong anti-air attack.

The Architect Council perk allows you to build a tier higher, which is amazing for farming gold super easy.

Toonz you can make your troops "Hold Position" rather than just dumping them in a spot. That way they won't move randomly and just stay where they are and defend.

Toonz Pro tip your character is a horse Spears against Calvary is very effective against your characters weakness and also use the zerkers greataxe infantry no armor but however armor-piercing good against cutting like butter
