stunning guitar. out of all the ones I've seen built on youtube, that is in my top 10 faves atm. I would dearly love a Nashville telecaster like that. in all honesty. out of all the guitars I've seen built. that's the first one I've really wanted.

Usually carved top teles don’t have the angled heel like you did here. Kudos for that.

That is a lot of work to put into a nice carved top. I am simply blown away on how you went about it with the holes and then chiseling the top. Just nuts! That is a beautiful guitar all around and probably one of the best I’ve seen you do tele wise. I like the fact you used true oil on this one. I use either true oil or wipe on poly on kits I build due to ease and I like the look. Kinda more natural in a way. Excellent, excellent work!!

Those finish colors worked out great and the body & neck looked absolutely stunning. But man, that flame maple you got there is the stuff dreams are made of!... Let me tell you, the unthinkable things I would do to have a garage full of it in 8/4. Another work of art my man!

@@bigdguitars You are much to kind and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the offer. Waiting on the weather to break a bit so I can begin setting up shop in the garage. I will certainly hit you up once I'm equipped to store/stock material. I'm not even equipped yet to begin resawing & processing any material. I've found some figured curly locally (Central Ohio), but it is nowhere near close to what you have there. I will be in touch in the not to distant future for certain. You rock my man.

Cool video! Dig sending the guitar through the sander at that angle and your truss rod routing jig. Heck the radius jig for the router was cool too!

Man, some of the comments... The cool thing about building “Custom” Guitars, is that you get to make it into whatever you want. There is no Right or Wrong way of doing. Outstanding job brother!! I’ve literally lost count of how many of your videos I’ve watched and haven’t walked away from one yet where I wasn’t blown away and or learned something. I do have a question for ya, I’ve seen you do this carve top as well a Les Paul carve, what are the thicknesses of timber that you start with for the body and the maple top?

I WANT IT!!! This is seriously about as close to my dream guitar as I've ever seen! Only things I'd change would be to make it a neck-through guitar, with neck specs of a 90's Jackson, 24 jumbo stainless frets, flat 16" striaght radius all the way down the neck, and to have 1 single Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge, and 1 single volume knob just below the 5-screw Fender hardtail bridge, and a Floyd Rose locking nut to help maintain tune (I do a lot of heavy bends). All black hardware & black Kluson Revolution locking tuners. Keep it simple. 🤘🏻 I wish I could afford a build like this, I would definitely get you to build me this guitar, if I could.

i'd be a big fat liar if I didn't say that's one of the most beautiful Teles I ever saw, and I seen my share, pics and live.. WOW.. really like to see brown tortoise cellulose binding both sides but that's my preference, some good warby parker see through stuff.. man that's nice.. is that a customers? one more detail that's painstaking but if you cupped the perimeter like some les pauls that really top it off.. perhaps if I can talk you into making me one you will add those two details? :-)

Very nice, wish it was a hollow body with 2 modern 'f' holes. Only one thing destroys its aesthetics: the ugly jack. I prefer the look of d original tele's one or put it on the top (the most convenient when u play seated but even standing it s better to handle)

If that's my guitar, I would ask to use the flame maple cap as "fake" binding rather than using that black binding But overall, it's a killer. Really love that neck
