Thank you Leighton!!! now I can use the machine to create the slots in my waste board that I use for my sliding clamping system instead of doing them by hand with a router and a guide fence Awesome video sir!!!

Perfect. Learned how to make a keyhole but also learned about polylines which is information that will be lots of help when designing future projects. Thanks.

Nice video. I may never use this but it's excellent at showing us how to problem solve when creative solutions are needed. Thanks!

Thanks for the great video! I know .001" is not very much, but couldn't you simply have the tool return to the original entry point from the "end of the slot" offset point instead of exiting .001" over? Then it would truly exit at the same point. The tool path would look like an elongated triangle.

I've been using Carveco Maker for about 6 months and am continually impressed with it's capabilities. The only shortcoming I've seen is the lack of a toolpath option for keyhole or slotting/undercutting. Dovetail bits don't have a place in the tool database either. The first thing I did when I got my Onefinity was put dovetail slots in a spoilboard. I had to improvise and do a little math and planning to make it happen. If anyone at Carveco sees this...PLEASE ADD A KEYHOLE/SLOTTING AND DOVETAILING TOOLPATH OPTIONS TO A FUTURE UPGRADE. THANKS!

This looks like a cool way to hang signs/pictures/art on the wall. By the way… The g-code doesn’t look right. It “should” have produced; Rapid (G0) to start position and then feed to depth; which it did v And then… G1 X0 Y.5 F50. X.001 Y0. And then up and out. At least that is what I was expecting from your vector created. Did I miss something?

I think because he's starting exactly at the origin, that bit of g-code wasn't needed.
