I carve a stylized rose from a piece of curly maple firewood as a Valentines Day gift for my wife. It is carved with a combination of knives, chisels and a Dremel 3000. I dyed the wood before applying Watco Danish oil finish.

It’s hard to say because it is done a little at a time. Probably 10 hours.

@MCBWoodworks thanks man. Looks good. I've never done wood carving and wanted to do a flower as a Christmas gift to my gf. Ordered a wood knife carving set and pretty much instantly lodged the knife in my hand. Couple months later and it's almost healed lol
