Kevin Merenger I test drove one today. Loved the steering feel and DCT was better than what AMG offers. Suspension was hard even in comfort mode. Compared to my Cayman GTS, it lacks charter and build/options quality. I also believe it is over priced, specially with very average interior and seats. Engine response was good

It makes sense to leave those parts out from a business point of view, BMW does not want the M2 to cannibalize the M3/M4 market.

It's interesting to see that even though on the spec list this car's model code is 1J51 which refers to a 6MT according to Bimmerpost it is actually a DCT. Isn't it a bit confusing?

5:13 it's not twin turbo, jesus christ. it's twin scroll. there is ONE turbo that is dual inlet. The n54 and s55 are twin turbo. the N55 is NOT.

Too soon for updating! Still like the analog gages with original classic orange color interior lighting! Front lights are nicer, no to sunroof due to weight increasing!

Interesting the HVAC typeface backlighting is classic BMW orange but on the M240i it is white. Also, why spend the money on a rear armrest AND cup holders that will be seldom used, but cheap and flimsy sun visors still exist. =/

I´m Happy with my pre LCI, not major changes, u can retorfit all that on the pre lci, enjoyed it for a Year now. All the rumours for the LCI updates were false.

I just ordered an M2 DCT Blk on July 31st. Does anyone know when I should expect to get delivery of it. My current lease will expire end of January 2018 and like to get my M2 delivery b4 Christmas.

David Cuypers in my 13 years of driving and parking in tight Dutch city parking spaces, I have never touched another car. Skills void the need for parking sensors.

Jochem regardless if you're dropping that kind of cash on a car pay a few hundred more for the front sensors. It will benefit its resale value. Even though M2s are highly wanted on the 2nd hand market at the moment, that's not gonna stay.

no question M2 is a beast, but interior design of M2 is terrible. Audi RS3 and CLA 45 are much better than M2 in many ways. BMW better be serious about the interior .

It's seriously not that bad, the focus is on performance and besides all novelty features wear out quickly. A fully loaded M2 interior would only harm the M3/M4 market; good for us but not good from a business point of view.

but still, all other brands gives better interior... but there's one feeling I get when I drive an M2 that I don't get in CLA 45 or RS3 (rs3 not so much) I feel that the car is designed only for drive and have the pleasure to drive... I have much more fun driving even my m240i xDrive then driving a RS3 or CLA 45... (I tested both since I was looking for a car...) BMW is BMW, they will always looking for pleasure of driving and performance on the M-line and not luxury. it's good to see that they sticked to their own mind.
