Ever wondered what it's like to be a car wash owner. Cleaning up trash, collecting cash, fixing equipment and dealing with customers. Yeas all of those things happen and I love it. Especially the collecting cash part.
But this is the reality of owning a self serve car wash and in this video you will see pretty much a typical day and what that consists of. What a great business the car wash is. If set up correctly it can be a great passive income producing asset and give you the financial freedom that you can dream of just like I was dreaming of when I was a teenager.
After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

You can buy a machine which is just like the coin counter however you put a sliver coin in the reader slot and when you put quarters in it separates the sliver to the zinc( I’m from London so I don’t know what American quarters are made of) but it basically just separates the slivers

Hi Chris. Loving your videos, I am hooked on them. Have you ever thought of offering your services to car hire companies or second hand car sales companies. I'm sure their vehicles would need a clean before the next customer hires it or buys it. Just a thought.

For silver quarters, they have a very different sound to them. You would definitely hear it stand out from the rest when it is going through your counter.

Whatever I need to buy I buy. One month might decide to upgrade with bill acceptors then I’ll do that. Once I have everything installed I want then it’s just maintaining

I was wondering if the change machine counts the cash received and sends it to a database? I was just curious as I would like something like that to monitor the progress of each machine and also have a record of collections in another place especially if you ask someone to do the physical in person collections.

Not really. We noticed we came close a few times to getting real low but never ran out. That’s another reason I like using tokens at mine
