I completely agree with you Mat. Your conclusion is spot on. Anyone can build an electric car. Make it fast. Make it smooth. But nobody does luxury like RR with their legendary V12 engines. I see it's clearly designed to allow for a petrol version to be made, same as BMW's (doesn't have a froot). So let's hope they make one and it will be the perfect RR coupe. Because it definitely is gorgeous.

Also, the majority of EV charging is done at your residence, meaning you start every day with that full range, so there is no waiting. It is a concept that seems hard to grasp for some that have never owned or lived with an EV. You worry about charging because you are used to having to fill up once a week and used to having to travel to places to do so. And that is simply not the case with an EV, your fuel station is at your home. The only time you would wait is if you actually fully utilize that distance in a single day, which again, someone buying this car likely would not do, and even then with a properly rated charger, you would only be waiting 30 minutes at most.

Wrong. The Infotainment, Doors, etc. are powered by a classic 12v Battery you can find in any car. Only the drivetrain is powered by the HV Battery. Also Porsche did an electrical charging port in the Taycan.

It's the same principle. If you look at one of the new mercs, it has no grille because it's electric, that's what the design team should be looking at. And you can't say it's aesthetics if the host is gonna call out fake exhausts, because those could be called aesthetics as well. It's the same principle.
