I was honestly shocked how fast that little Porsche was once it made boost! I thought the Viper would win with ease. Porsche has always punched way above its weight! @szybkilewyprostyf2315 ай бұрын

There's something undeniably magnetic about the raw, unfiltered experience of driving older cars. It's not just about speed or technology; it's the skill, the connection between driver and machine, the dance of clutch and gear that makes every successful run a triumph. These cars aren't just vehicles; they're time machines taking us back to an era where driving was an art, not just a task. Plus, seeing them in action, especially in races, is like watching history come alive. I love the old cars shot outs. I have a lightly modded (380ish crank hp) 92 Twin Turbo Stealth weekend car, an APR tuned 2020 SQ7, and a stock 2019 C43 and driving them fast is night and day. The Stealth is raw and just fun to drive fast especially when you get into the boost. The C class is a little faster and in the case of the SQ7 with the APR tune, ridiculously faster but there are no stakes. You just point the steering wheel and press the go pedal with those, which is comparatively boring even though they are faster. Rowing your own gears, all the sounds, no annoying overly protective safety systems, and just the low to the ground fighter pilot cockpit is just fun and makes me smile every time. And the ridiculously tall gearing in a lot of the 90s cars is a blast. 2nd in the Stealth will run around 85 mph so there are just these long, push you back in the seat pulls you don't get with modern 8 speeds.

Love the Viper, what a fabulous sound in any case. Well done on this Folks very interesting. Would cadence braking have helped either of these cars stop earlier I wonder. I have used it since I started to drive a very long time ago and luckily never needed it in a real situation but the flashing of the brake lights tends to attract the attention of the vehicle behind in any case!

930 turbo with a 4 speed. Rev engine 2,500 rpm , dump clutch burn rubber 3 feet, hook up, count one one thousand two one thousand then boost appears. Shift the rubber shifter at red line to the wide spread 2 nd gear. Motor goes flat, no boost, repeat 2 second count, boost arrives. Repeat for 3 rd gear & 4th. Oh, and make sure the wheels oh and make sure wheels are pointed straight ahead when boost comes or bad things might happen. The 5 speed I. 1989 changed this car from slow to go. 911 SC cams for go. And if you find yourself going too fast thru a corner, do not back off the throttle and never ever consider touching the brake pedal. Your right foot is the traction control and abs and your hands are the PDCC and PSM. And it has an extra pedal.
