absolutely one of the most informative well done videos pertaining to the triangle communities i have ever seen. my family and extended family are fleeing the northeast and was looking for a wonderful small town feel to settle in with good schools and a cute town center. What's strange is I'm closer to Morrisville than I am to the center of Cary, but I'm still counted in Cary. Cary basically wraps around Morrisville

i live in holly springs and it is soooooo nice and everyone basically knows everyone. i will warn you though, it is very hard to get a house at this time of the year and this time in general because of the demand to move here

Thank you for the excellent video. I am looking for a place to retire, would you recommend Cary, Holly Springs, or Apex? I love to live close to the nature and have access to farm markets and of course medical facilities, etc. .

Honestly all three towns are very nice! Cary is the only one that has a hospital but apex and holly springs are not a far drive from the hospital which is in southern Cary.

@@user-px5ru8ft7k there is new construction available in both cities. Prices for new construction in Holly Springs starts around 300k and the median is about 450k. In Cary it starts around 325k and median is around 575k. Lower end of the range in both cities gets you a townhome.

Harris Lake is in New Hill, right? New Hill is closer to Apex. Apex Fire Station #2 is right next to Harris Lake. Just thinking you may have meant Apex. I don't consider HS to be Harris Lake.

Harris Lake is just west of Holly Springs in Wake and Chatham counties. Jordan Lake is just west of Apex. Apex Fire station #2 is just north of Harris Lake and just south of Jordan, almost equidistant between the two. Hope that helps!

In the Triangle area the best places to find acreage for horses is going to be Chatham County/Western Apex, Pittsboro, etc. You can also find larger lots up in the Wake Forest/ Falls Lake area. Well we do get occasional hurricanes in this area, but the damage is minimal..at least compared to where I grew up in Florida. But as for affordable, in the Raleigh area I would recommend Knightdale. Nope!! It's hard to get used to if you're from Florida, but they really don't. We DO have snakes though. Lakes are pretty safe but I have seen lots of snakes gathered around little creeks so you just have to keep your eyes open.

That situation has changed so many times I am almost afraid to give an update!! The most recent news is that the site was purchased by Epic Games as their headquarters and will no longer be a sports complex.

My oldest son is going to school for game design. I was actually surprised to learn that video games are really just like interactive movies. I hadn’t thought of it that way, but he’s a writer and artist. Gaming culture combines artistic skills with tech skills and I’m just thankful it’s a way creatives can make a living! 😊 But yeah I’m also too old to really get it. 😂

@@EllenPitts hate was probably a strong word for it but I did dislike my visit. Way overcrowded and a little boring. I guess I had higher expectations. I think the Charlotte and Lake Norman area is better scenery.

@@randyjennings6412 yeah I am sure Lake Norman feels less populated than Cary. I would think areas around here that are more comparable to that area would be in North Raleigh in the Falls Lake corridor.
