As the owner of a nicely modded MK7 GTI, I must say that the giant IPad in the dash in the MK8’s looks silly and out of proportion. In comparison my MK7’s interior is simple but yet very effective with a mix of analog gauges and small digital display in between. So glad I bought my GTI when I did because she’s such a great street car with a few mods.
