Regardless what you want to say about the movie and the sequel, it deserved an Oscar for how much it made me believe Joaquin Phoenix actually had pseudobulbar affect, in the first scene right after the title card he really looks like he's forced to laugh even if it's not how he feels, that was incredible the first time I watched that scene 🤩🤩🤩 Also did anyone notice his pseudobulbar affect stopped working like it should after he became the Joker, he never randomly laughs again once he puts on the suit.
