Cascadas Agua Azul, Misol-Ha and Roberto Barrios Waterfalls

On our departure from Palenque we wanted to see as many waterfalls as possible. In this video we take you along as we visit three waterfalls in three days.
This is the holy trinity of falls in Palenque.
The first, Misol-Ha was our favorite. We loved it because we are able to swim in it easily, the falls were close to the parking lot, and we could get a unique glimpse behind the falls. It was also pet friendly!
Next was Agua Azul. We loved it because of the sheer beauty of it. What we didn't love was rows of endless vendors and the children constantly asking us to buy stuff. We also didn't like how far it was from the parking lot. We didn't feel comfortable leaving the van alone at this spot. We did enjoy the falls despite all of the above. Just keep in mind, this place is very touristy, not an authentic jungle waterfall experience.
Roberto Barrios Waterfalls was our third choice. Here you have the authentic jungle waterfall experience if you visit it from the campground/restaurant where we parked. It is very close to the parking lot and we felt like the van was secure in this lot. It is pet friendly and we enjoyed walking all by ourselves in the morning before we left the campground. It is swim-able but we chose not to swim on this morning. The downside is that the toilets here are flush-by-bucket.
These are the three waterfalls you MUST see if you are in Palenque for any length of time. Inexpensive and fun to visit!
