Cascadia Transmission ABS Traction Control faults repaired

2015 Freight liner Cascadia 113 with intermittent fault codes for transmission, abs , speed sensors, traction control. Faults would appear after disconnecting from trailers or hitting bumps in the road.... the problem was a 10 pin connector in the wiring harness with no visible signs of damage. I replaced two of the ten female connectors.
I hope this helps someone else. I struggled with this problem for awhile before finding the solution.

TO: YADON - cascadia transmission abs traction control faults repaired I have been self-employed since 1984, I don't leave comments - except this time It's about 3:15am - another long day, as I do my homework at 61 years old.... We have all seen spread terminals due to some knuckle head jamming test leads into them, but not because it appears to be another wimpy terminal from the OEM. Your video reminds us all to stick with the basics - one of those basics is to grab wiring harnesses and shake them like you mean it. Thank you for your time - I'm going to make you a halo to wear from old wiring I save in a big box I keep next to me while working on these nightmares... the box keeps people away from me while I'm working. Thank you I have a 2016 eveloution with a dd15 and had code SPN 1045 FMI 5 The abs and hsa and traction control lights would come on driving down the road for a month. I saw your video and checked the connectors. Yes they were not all the way in. I cleaned them and pressed them together with the little lock the way they should be. That fixed the problem. Thanks for valuable diagnostic info Boss. Freightliner Cascadia 2017 6x2 tag axle. Lights on ECAS, ABS, HSA - this was the problem.

What size and amp are the pins?

I always cut that one off and wire direct. Always have the wires at the connector greened out. Never seems to be corrosion inside the connector

I can’t get my cruise control to work on my automatic 2013 Cascadia, everything seems to be working properly but I was told it might be the Onguard wabco that’s not letting it work but on my truck it is disconnected from what it seems, can anyone help me get it to work 🙏🏾

I had similar symptos when connecting the wabco radar I get ABS LIGHT ?? Anyone with any idea when I searched it says harness!!

Did you end up finding out the part#? I think they are called APEX 2.8 female terminals. I’m having the same issue the dealer gave me part# FCI 10757690 but he said he’s not 100% it’s the right one.

I don’t remember if this solved an Ecas code …. But check the wires on the side of your one box the wires leading to the sensors they will rub through where the wires turn 90 degrees and cause a short and send codes to the computer
