Hi, Robin. It's been awhile, but it's been a difficult year, for us all. I actually made this when you first posted it, and my.house was filled with pockets everywhere. I couldn't stop, they were/are so much fun. You are one of the most talented and ... I'm trying to think of a word .. but just all round best channels. Because you share so much in your individual style, and encourage the rest of us to come with you. I made a special birthday folder based on one you did, and I was shocked at how really well it turned out, and they loved it. So thanks for sharing. We have been so unsettled with housing for almost a year,, a lot due to covid, but we are finally hoping to be settled in September. The ram in my computer died, but the drive is okay. I finally just bought a new one, and hope they can recover the drive. But art is eternal and yours is simply beautiful, and it's almost Halloween, your favorite! Best, Patricia

Love these - saw a similar one of just a single scrap envelope filled with fussy cut flowers and made several that are a delight - this takes that another step further by adding more envelopes abd tucks! Love it.

This is so beautiful, Robin! I love all the layering! And I do use my Cricut Explore Air 2 for the Fussy Cut items, but I think if I had it to choose again, I might go with the scan & cut... seems easier. TFS!

@@robindudleyhowes no it's by Brother. My understanding is you don't have to use the computer so much. You can just print images and then scan them in to the machine for it to cut.

@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 I have a scan n cut and I love it. The only problem with it fussy cutting is if the border isn't bold enough it will cut part of the print. I have learned to just add a small border around each print and it cuts great.

I used to be a Stampn' Up! Demonstrator too. I distress my stuff with the ink pad too. I have a ton of their stamps to sell!. I was a demonstrator when Shelly and LaVonne were partners in the business. Long time ago my number was four digits. Lol

I have Scan n Cut, use it all the time for fussy cutting. What I like is I don’t have to use computer, I can take it to the lounge and just cut out images from books etc

I love your cascading envelopes. I glue odds and ends scraps of paper together, it comes out in all different sizes and shapes. I use my scraps, paper bags, packing paper...everything. I'm going to follow your tutorial here because it pairs perfectly with my scrap pages I've been making. Yes, it's addictive. I can't add photos here of them. Love your envelopes. I do not believe the cricut will cut these out; but the scan n cut will. I have both machines and use the scan n cut to do fussy cutting. You might be able to scan them then import into design space and cut them that way.

You might try Ebay. I have gotten some really good prices for things related to junk journals and if you're talking about a Cricut they do have them.

Robin Robin these are so beautiful and so creative so simple I love it Thinking that you would be the person that could create a tutorial on how to get your stuff online how to create and get a website started how to edit your files for uploading vids how to get products onto etsy....all the basics and comprehensive and inclusive class for getting into what you're into , how did you do it, what did you do, I'm thinking you're the girl.. have you ever thought about something like that..? I cannot find a total program class that would include it all and trying to figure out what bits you need to put it all together it's the missing piece

Hello, I recently purchased the digital from my porch prints that you mentioned in this video. Unfortunately I was not happy with the end results. Did you use 60lb or 65lb parchment paper/cardstock? I really love the way your envelopes turned out. Thank you.

Hi Cathy thank you for watching. I bought that parchment cardstock years ago and I don't have the original packing so I don't know the weight but it's definitely cardstock, not paper. Hope that helps.

Hi Robin! I think I took your crochet bead bracelet over on Jeanne's site, years ago! I just found you on KZbin, and your channel is Fabulous. So many beautiful things to make. My thoughts are to take your Bohemian Journal Class Online, it looks so gorgeous! Do you have anymore kits for that course? If not, would you suggest getting items from My Porch Prints? I noticed that you use FabriTac on the paper, and I've noticed another person use Fabritac on paper.Is it better than regular Glue? I mean to hold for longevity? bc I thought the fabric tac was for Fabric only? And I have some items from Stampin" Up from 2002 and the stamp pad- Still has ink! There really last!

Hi, so glad you found me! Yes that was me on Jeanne's site and now I have 7 of my own courses through my online school. I can make a kit for you, just let me know. You can look at my past sales in my etsy store to see samples or check my instagram and facebook pages for pictures of the altered file folders. You know I always thought fabric tac was for fabric only but it's not and I like how it dries quickly, not that it's necessarily better than others. When you say you scraps do you mean scrapbooking paper or printer weight paper, as yours look quite thin. I love the idea. No luck here getting rubber stamps at thrift stores !

Good question Dorothy, yes printer wieght paper. I have also used scrapbook paper but for this video I used regular printer paper. You'll have better luck getting rubber stamps on ebay.
