Thank you for the video! I am thinking of buying the same backhoe; it does not go into gear currently. They said the top tower pulls up out of the transmission? I was watching some other videos out there and supposedly if the case vent gets plugged, the cast iron sweats and moisture collects inside. Not sure if the one for sale just has a shift mechanism issue or not. Their pictures show the shifter pulled out of the top of the case.

This is a great backhoe…I highly recommend it! I’m not familiar with your problem, butI would assume that it here’s a bad connection between the shifter and the box. Could be inside the transmission. I’m uploading the range box disassembly next… Hope it helps!
