Nice review, it looks a fairly big machine. Good to see the access and servicing unlike the review that wet-wipe Olly did. He couldn’t review a potato.

Nice review George 👍 only thing I noticed on the machine was when u were dumping an crowding the bucket it looked as if there was a helluva side to side travel on the joystick 🤔👍👍

I was going for a 542-70 until my dealer told that it is exactly the same with the 532-70. Same axles same wheelbase same dimensions same pumps. He told me that somehow jcb adds more back weight to the machine that it can be able to lift the extra 1t. Because of the extra weight (1t) 542-70 has more fuel consumption so i choose 532-70 because i will not lift 4 tones in any case. Maybe its the same thing for the farmlift. Great review as always.

Hi George, one thing that I noticed straight away is how much quieter this Case is inside the cab than the Merlo. I know you commented before that you did not think the Merlo was over noisy, but the lack of transmission whine from this Case is very noticeable just in this short video. It must make for a less stressful time in say the period of a week if one was spending many hours a day in the cab?
@torquingpoint50574 жыл бұрын
It's all to do with microphones and what they pick up as well as the Merlo being hydrostatic. The Merlo was overall probably slightly quieter if you were actually driving.

Sure if you flip the weight charts over it reveals a cup holder about the only thing I liked on the one we demoted.

We have the blue version on one farm. Initially a 15 plate one with less than 3000 hrs, it was endless trouble and went back to the dealer after 2 months, where it's still in the workshop with its entire wiring loom spread across the floor. It was exchanged for a 68 plate one with 700 hrs, so far it has suffered from chafed earth wiring that blanked the dash, and has been in the dealers workshop since lastTuesday due to losing all its brake fluid into one of the axles 😕

Iv spent quite a bit of time on the nh version. Ironically at the same farm that had the merlo cs. Felt a solid stable machine working the pit but I could never get on with the joystick. Cant explain it just never just seemed to have the buttons in the right place for me. The gearbox seemed to have it's own mind to and liked to argue with me alot

Looks a reasonable machine not sure about the fuel/ad blu fillers location but hey ho, still think you’ll have to go a long way to beat JCB for a loader tho.
@jamieshields95214 жыл бұрын
Enjoy CaseIH review, looks great, bit different to New Holland, best features are mud guards with keeping back clean from mud building up on chassis, interior is bit clumsy it should had touch screen for functions with cup holder n lockway storage. Differently bigger telehandler especially big footprint when loading n unloading from height. But big let down is aircon switches they were things that stuff up on Boss NH telehandler.

A L There are a fair few sites that would beat that price. I'm looking at the 1/2" impact next although several followers have asked about cheaper impacts and if they are any good so I'm actually tempted to buy and try out the Ryobi for 6 months for those who don't want to buy the top end stuff.

Lord Muck cheers Mucka. You two boys are the proper men to ask anything tool related.👍🏻 Would be interesting to see how the Ryobi would fare

A L Ryobi are actually owned by TTI who own Milwaukee. The 1/2" isn't so powerful but for general farm use it might be worth a look so I'll probably do the review in the next few weeks.

I've been using the 742 everyday to feed my 220 cows and other jobs as hauling bales and alot other stuff and im not really impressed. I hate the powershift. The only thing the poweshift is good for is going into the mais with a overload grab. Speakers is already blown after 1300 hours since last year. Been made alot of service and damn their windshield wiper goes crazy off trac. In my time the windshild wiper has been changed 4 times. And then is just top og the ice.. I dont really like it
