That jcb is a far cry from the old matbro's and sanderson's. Cracking video 🤟

Going back about 13years l posted a video of me loading trailer with a JCB Loadall 530-70. The trailer was on a JCB Fastrac with paper waste destined for fields on a farm near Wigan if l recall correctly. On the same site was JCB 520-50. Both were brilliant machines. I have aldo driven a JCB 416-S loading shovel which was a grand bit of kit too. Also on my loader list is Manitou which l liked and more recently and every day at the moment l drive a Merlo P40. I prefer the JCB machines to be honest. Good video young man.

Would a bale wrapper (plastic film) work for the farm, so the bales maintain shape and are also weather proof ❓

I drove an older JCB one of the first with the electro joysticks and found when you needed to shake the buckets it would be slow and hard to operate. We just bought a new one only the 3 tone machine which has a shake button but it really is not needed as the joystick is responsive enough to shake the bucket out. Thanks for the video

Good morning George, I have just watched this video of yourself operating this JCB agripro telehandler and found it quite interesting, as I can remember driving the very first series of these machines back in 1989 and I thought at the time that this is the way forward for larger farms to load/unload stack/unstack and of course do all the other jobs on and around the farm that is required and now we have moved forward 30+ years and these machines are still basically the same but the controls are different as you only have a single joystick 🕹 to do the main operations of the boom but I guess it’s logical progression in the way things are done now to make are working lives a lot less stressful. I am also looking forward to seeing you and his Lordship back together doing a more in depth conversation about new or old machinery that has come or has gone the way of the DoDo and until next time TaRa for a bit.

Up to 20kph not 16. The track as you call it is now been fitted inside the booms on all machines to save being caught or damaged

Ben has a family which must come first in the current situation. When he has time he'll pop up here and there no doubt but we will also have some special guests joking us along the way not to mention the chance for some of you to join us while filming various episodes.

The sawmill near me had a jcb, think it had about 15000 hours on it, they replaced it with a merlo, the lad that's on it said in 6 months work it's only managed 2 weeks of work without breaking down. He hates it
@gregshearer4233 жыл бұрын
That’s unlucky had merlo where a use to work and they were pretty much bullet proof

George, might sound like a daft question, with the dual vt box, how does it behave when loaded, and you hit a hill that drags you down below 18k or whatever? Do you lose the power shift, IE does it revert to hydrostatic, and then crawl awfully? I’ve some awful steep hills round here, would agri pro spec hack it, or would a lower spec, but full power shift machine be better suited?
@torquingpoint50573 жыл бұрын
Hey Sion, it'll pull a heavily loaded trailer well in the hydrostatic part of the box. Although we haven't got much in the way of hills round here. It would be very similar to when a powershift gets down in the lower gears and it drops out of torque lock up they lose all of there go. Hope that helps.

George how do you find the boom suspension we have 2 542-70 agri pros and boom suspension is horrible and hard a slight bump in the road makes the machine bounce like made we've had jcb look at them both twice and they say there is nothing wrong with it but compared to our old 67 plate 536-70 agri pros they are complete rubbish
@torquingpoint50573 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, must be something wrong as ours is fine and as good as the previous 531-70. Obviously the more weight on the boom the better it operates.
@steveeveratt98163 жыл бұрын
@@torquingpoint5057 we only have forks on ours but our old 536-70 would travel nice and you could see the boom floating whilst traveling on rough ground but the 542-70 bounces like mad slaming the forks about going to get jcb out to them again they've been out twice and said nothing wrong tho
