Dear Diane, thank you so much for your amazing lectures. I looooove them all! I come from a British Psychology education tradition (all the way to PhD) but now live in Norway and study towards a Masters in Family therapy. It is quite a contrast to go from a positivistic, evidence based, systemic, approach where theoretical knowledge reigns supreme to a more social constructionist, narrative, collaborative, or dialogical approach where theoretical knowledge is sometimes regarded as a hindrance to the therapeutic endeavour. Your lectures are the PERFECT bridge between those two very different worldviews. Learning from you gives me the confidence to navigate the often confusing and sometimes terrifying prospect of moving into family systems work.
