I am taking my test on Wednesday - I was supposed to take it 3-4 years ago but I had my first stroke right before the exam and by the time I reapplied I hit covid (the test was the week after the stay at home announcement) then I had to make up hours and then had stroke 2,3, and 4 which left me rehabbing physically as I was left with the inability to write walk talk and etc,. Now I have difficulty with remember - I did TDC and it was kind of helpful but the voice is not as playful - and I need visual. I really like your tone of voice. Thank you for making these. I am 5 years in the making of taking this exam.

This was so insightful! I especially like the explanation of the cycle of the problem with attachment, I can totally see how this occurs in my own relationship. I never fully realized the clingy phase after the conflict but now I see it and it definitely happens both ways. We're both doing our best to not fall into our pattern though and working so far

So glad you found the video insightful! Best of luck in breaking the pattern. It’s great when both partners see it and want to change it.

I've done most of that earlier working through my trauma from an very abusive relationship. I started making my music after 2 years of being completely separated from him and i made a few songs about him that really helped me dig deep and fix those raw wounds that i just covered with a bandage and in midst of our relationship i miscarried a child and so those old wounds came back to me forcing me to work through those wounds and realizing how much I've overcame and now I'm giving others my testimony and help them through my experiences. And making my music is something I always wanted to do since i was a child and my ex boyfriend at the time was very jealous and still is jealous of me and he used to destroy anything i created. While also destroying me. I'm still watching ur videos after the Twilight videos and they're helping me understand what i sent though and what i did that was useful to my development from that time until now. Thank u truly ❤

I must come here and say this THANK YOU so much for all the theories videos. They helped me so much as I am reading the family system textbook and learning all the family theories. I really appreciate all the explanations. I love your videos. I wonder will you explain IFS in the future video? Seemed like it is very popular. Plus I would love to hear from you how counselors should use all these different theories in their practice. Should we pick one or integrate them? What is your suggestion? Thank you again. I wish my ex and I would have done this. Instead we ended up with a therapist that attacked me and glorified him. The issue we had as a couple is that we didn't see many things going on in the world as a unit. We were very far apart in our perspective and argued all the time. I left. He didn't come after me. He let me go and slept with about 7 different women. 30 years of marriage down the drain. Prior to this whole covid thing, we had been distant and slept in separate rooms. I wasn't allowed to have an opinion just like when I was a child. Prior to our separation we had been faithful and there was no abuse. He didn't want therapy and then when we got it, the therapist attacked me because I refused the covid shot due to prior guillian barre syndrome that still affects me today. I started drinking, which didn't help. Quit drinking 1.5 years ago. His mother was also part of the problem. She controlled people with money. Now I am in a new relationship. I don't want to make the same mistakes.
