20:23 since the patient is asthmatic i guess beta blocker is avoided. isn't it?

Beta blockers are mainstay in treatment for cardiac failure but contraindicated when the patient presents with acute on lvf with pulmonary edema. They can be resumed again once the once the pulmonary edema is settled. For asthmatics cardio selective b blockers are preferred.

@@dr.akhilmuraleedharan yes sir, but most common cardioselectives in use which i have seen are Meto/Nebi/Biso. I didn't see others like esmo/aceb/aten/betax much in use.

B blocker contra indication because pt.have asthma and some heart failure
