Oh my,don't you get harrassed though on the female driver,was nice to see,alot of women are very involved in farming and are oftentimes sorry to say better operators. My wife has sure been an asset in our forty plus years of marriage and working together although running equipment is not her favorite always helps out when needed. She prefers the animals and her attention to detail and getting it done is amazing.

It makes a nice change to hear a tractor which is well on top of the job, no wheel slip, purring away at 1500rpm, revs dying ever so slightly when the cultivator hits a tougher bit of dirt…a good operator with mechanical sympathy and low fuel use in mind.

Very nice cool. Nice line up. Sounds like a California type tillage team. My neighbor had a 2009 and 2010 335. The 2009 335 was traded for a 370 last year to run with the 2010 335.

I saw in real life and also on the internet (TikTok) a CaseIH Qadtrac that had painted the front half a US flag and the rear part the Romanian flag,one driver that works on the farm that owns the tractor sayed that the tractor came to theyr farm straight from Agriplanta,the biggest agro show in Romania(that was in 2014 i believe) and they own the tractor since,any info of what special edition it is?Or what's up with it?(They also sayed it came from the factory with that decal) I also can provide some pictures with it if someone knows something

It is a cool tractor. Ever since the 535 was released pretty much every big Steiger sold in the region I live in is a Quadtrac. Rowtracs took over for a while too but now I see wheeled models on the upswing in the 420 hp market. In the 470 to 620 hp range everything here is Quadtrac.

One 535 HD was painted Green from the factory for a founding board member of Steiger Inc. Case IH did not offer a green model or promote it for 50 years. The Gold 535s are the official 50 Anniversary models.

Late in the year tillage is hard to film because the sun never gets to a full height in the sky. Everything looks washed out under a winter sun while fighting sun glare and long shadows. This farm has a gold Magnum as well and I hope to film both gold tractors in the sane field this spring.

Unfortunately it was late in the day and I was 100 miles from home. I was tight on time and did one quick round to show the cab. I did not have time full interview. This farm has the gold Steiger and the gold Magnum. The hope for this spring is to film both in the same field.

Our Elmer's Super 7 Heavy Harrow can make our Quadtrac spin and use 112% hp. I can imagine that Sunflower could do the same at speed.

A large coulter chisel set at 9 to 12 inches deep will put a 4wd to work. The soil in the river flats works up well and this 29 ft coulter chisel works well with the 535. I live 100 miles south of this field where the soil is red clay and a 620 hp tractor is put to work with a 23ft coulter chisel.

@@bigtractorpower Yes exactly. Soil type makes a huge difference. Most deep tillers are run at 2 inches deep. But if you put it down to 6 or 8, a 500hp Quadtrac can struggle with a 30ft.

It’s interesting. They had a decal for 40 years on the 9300 series tractors. Ertl produced a 60th Anniversary 620 in Steiger green in 1/64 and 1/32 scale. There was a green 580 delivered in Saskatchewan in February 2018 which was the 60th Anniversary. I would guess 75 Years will be the next big splash in 2033.
