I ran the same machine with a 35ft macdon head on it.. it just kelpt plugging up if the power meter went above 100...it was a demo mybe worn out r something

What crop were you cutting? I have filmed 9230s and 40s running 45ft MacDons and they just eat the crop.

I don't mean to be "that guy" but we've ran a 40 Macdon on a 7010 for years the only time you reach the 100 % level is early in the soybean season. We run between 2.5 to 4 mph. I'd imagine this machine would eat absolutely everything in front of it.
