Building on nearly 50 years of harvesting excellence, with proven Axial-Flow rotor technology, the new AF11 introduces the next evolution in high efficiency farming, the AFXL2 dual rotor system. AFXL2 dual rotor technology creates a much larger total threshing and separating area. A longer rotor provides 50 percent more separation over previous models. The AFXL2 rotor allows greater crop condition adaptability with six concave modules and 12 separating modules.

All great and exciting for the mega-farmer, but the smaller farmer has been forgotten in the eyes of the 3 major manufacturers of equipment across the Globe. I'm only 44 years old and I can't believe in my lifetime I've seen in such a change in the ag industry; only 25 years ago they were still reaching almost every-sized farmer, offering affordable and properly-sized equipment choices to every sector.

I’m a smaller farmer in Australia and the choose of second hand equipment priced to match my size and the dealers ability to supply parts to rebuild it keeps me going. You don’t have to have brand new.

How big of a corn header will this AF11 combine be able to use?

The largest made today are 18 row 30 inch models from Geringoff and Drago. The AF11 can run those with ease. Geringoff has a 20 row used by NexAt. Not sure if the feeder house is the same.

An X9 1100 is 690 hp and 460 bu. The AF11 is 775 hp and 567 bu. I would say the Case IH will put harvest the the X9. We will see in June when wheat harvest starts.

The Fendt 10/10T and Claas Lexion 8900 both are 15 horsepower bigger, not sure what the power bulge is for each

@@Just_a_Mere_Farmer 1. I used the term if therefore its a if then statement not a factual point. 2. The CR11 is fully engineered in Zedelgem, Belgium and built there and it's save to say the AF11 will be at best assembled in Grand Island.

@@tractordawg they’re both assembled in the same plant. If you look at a CR 10 and a 9250 the AF 11 and CR 11 actually looks more like a 9250. The only thing that’s relatively similar to a NH is that they have a twin rotor.
