Crazy part....Neko has no training. All natural. She buries me and digs me out at the same time. Her voice takes me places I likely could never get to on my own. One of a kind, and difficult to describe. There's no genre for her, and she is for no genre. She's just....Neko. THAT is what I love about her.

I saw the Brooklyn Prospect Park show. (beautiful place for a concert). It was one of the best live performances I have ever seen. The collective work from the recording was great and the performance by each of their own (dare I say "Hits") was equally incredible. The tour band seen here was superb. (I am not sure who played on the recording). Barbara Gruska (Belle brigade) is a wonderfully talented percussionist--she's not just a drummer! Her work on "Down (I-5)" sung by Neko is incredible.

Thank you for posting this fabulous concert! The album is perfect in so many ways--songwriting, singing, harmonies, instruments--and it's nice to see it played live. Love k.d. lang's stage presence. She really gets into the songs, even when she's not the lead singer, and she interacts with the band often. Neko is always great. Not that familiar with Laura but am checking out her past albums now.
