A cartoon I started in 2015 and didn't pick up on again until maybe a couple years ago, and then finally again this past week. Glad to finally have it done.

Love the style, man! You're the one cartoonists who's reviving the Rocky and Bullwinkle days!

Funny cartoon! Reminds me of Late 1950’s cartoons like Rocky and Bullwinkle and Yogi Bear!

Yogi Bear is early 1960s, not late 1950s, yet he appeared as a secondary character in Hucklebound Show.

You've gotten really good at imitating the Rocky and Bullwinkle style.

Definitely getting Jay Ward vibes from this. Only thing it's missing is the announcer telling us the two punny titles of the next episode. Something like: _"Straight To The Point, Or, Pencil Pushed!"_

This video is excellent. This feels like something that a big animation studio would make.

This looks really great! You really nailed the 50s/60s limited animation style and Jay Ward’s writing style very well; I would also say that the way you move your characters in this style is incredible. When I see other animated shows with this style before Dexter’s Laboratory, they mostly moves stiff and rarely moves fluid; but the way you do it is the opposite of that and even some of the stiff movements you did are surprisingly fluid to me. I love that and it also leads me to a question I want to ask. So, I’m animating something that’s in a middle of a deadline and I think it’s at point where I probably don’t have much time; so I've been trying out limited animation but in a smooth and fluid way. I think I’ve succeeded in animating like this but I feel like it kinda looks weird in some places and I feel like I need to learn more about this style; and I was wondering if you know anything about animating limited animation combining with full animation in it?

First of all, thank you! :o Secondly, I'd say studying anything animated by Carbunkle Cartoons is a good place to look. The animation is layered and limited, but the timing and spacing of everything makes it look a lot more fluid.

I think you should take the audio into audacity and add some equalization, or maybe a hi-pass filter onto the track to give it a more authentic 1960s sound.

Well done, finishing this long project. I'm typically just drawing characters, and building things on my own, i can barely animate, yet.

If I'd have to guess, all the scenes that were completed after 2015 are the ones where the characters don't have a cel-like drop shadow.

Did you upload the walk cycle before you scrapped it or after?
@lotusbandicoot5 жыл бұрын
I always intended to finish it, I was just busy with a lot of other things for a while. XD But the walk cycle was pretty early into production

How did you do it cel animation
@PeacockGuy124 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure he animated it frame by frame and then added a animation cel flair to it.
