Case knives are junk. The "XX" on that once stood for getting checked twice for quality. The last Case knife I had brand new was a gift, sealed in the box from the manufacturer, and I was the first one to lay eyes on it after the factory... and it came with limp spring that would not hold the blade open. It was junk. And then upon taking it back to where the giver had bought it I discovered that this is common enough to where they'd stopped taking Case returns and they were referring returns to go directly to Case by mail. JUNK
