Hey guys, hope you enjoy today’s video! What do you think of the Puma?! Only thing I forgot to mention was that as a direct replacement to the Deere, the Puma might struggle with our Claydon drill. That’s where the weight of the Deere really helps. But other than that the Puma could do everything else 😎 Maybe a Magnum would suit us better if we were ever to change 🤔 Thoughts and opinions welcome!Happy weekend all! ✌️

300 Optum? Used one on demo, only rolling a clamp. The cab and mirrors were very nice. Lights were like the starship enterprise- covered a good area and nice clean light. Felt like a king for a couple of days. Nice logic regarding the tractor image and the associated controls around it.

Those Puma's look great! And hydraulic toplinks are the best. Got one over 20yrs ago, couldn't do my work without it. Although it's not as accurate as the modern ones. I only take it of when I go mowing or raking. For all my other jobs its on there.

Absolute game changer, when I levelled off the chisel plough from the cab I was hooked with it!
@mrvanahead3 жыл бұрын
@@NicksFarm not to forget the hooking on to machines! But as said.. those older hydraulic toplinks aren't equiped for keeping rigid. So for precise work i don't use it. But thats not that much here. But tight yard.. moving stuff around.. that thing makes life a lot easier!

That puma will run that drill no problem at all. Last place I worked at ran two smaller case pumas a 150 and 140 and both of them could run a 4 meter combi unit easily. The GPS is abit to get used to if you're gonna get case/trimble system but it's quite easy to put deere one on instead

Nice one Nick, Looks like a lovely place to work from! Maybe worth demoing a John Deere 6250R with the command pro joystick to compare - We have one at the farm and its great! You can customise all the buttons for different jobs and have them backed up, Eg you go drilling and have the command arm set for that job you can save it so next time you use the drill it has all the setting ready to go from last time!

Believe it or not the puma will use less fuel than the deere, I had a deere 155R that was boosting to 175hp all the time when cultivating had to use 4wd and diff lock and could only drop it to 4 out of 5 on the depth scale that would burn 250 litres a day, the puma 165 I had on the same cultivator would pull it at full depth at a higher speed with lower revs and only 4wd engaged and used 180 litres a day, boss couldn't believe it when I did 2 days with the 5m vaderstad tool carrier on 1 tank in the puma
