I was diagnosed quite late with Potts spine after I lost all sensation in both legs and was hospitalised because i couldnt stand up. I had to have 4 levels of spinal implants because my L4 was shattered. I was in bed for 3 months after surgery but started physiotherapy. Now, 2 years later, I am completely fine and I do yoga too! Yes my lower back does stiffen up if I dont strech it regularly but hey - I can walk again! And run! And ride my bicycle!

@@kayeshassan2220 I walked 3 days after the surgery but then spent the next 3 months in bed due to lack of help. After that, I got a physiotherapist who helped me to walk again in a month

I need you as a doctor seriously I have been sick for 3.5 years now and I am so sick now I nearly can't walk or control my body or memory. I have started to forget what I am talking about mid conversation and I am very scared. I live in TN if you are close I will come to you if I can make it there. I have got to the point that I don't even want to go back to the doctor because I don't believe they can find out what is going on with me due to the repeat failure of diagnosis they have preformed. I am a HVAC/R Refrigeration technician and can't even work where my body is in so much pain all over. I nearly can't write anymore. I don't understand why the doctors here can't fix me and I think I may die soon if they don't find out what is happening to me and fix me.

Tb, sarcoidosis and syphilis are known to have _protean manifestations_ - myriad symptoms with unguessable causes. And that’s a gruesome MRI.

Interesting! I had a patient with TB in his spine many yrs ago. I don’t believe he went through chemo. Is that a newer option? Have you seen better results with it?

does it mean that I was misdiagnosed?! Because I found a fracture in the thoracic section and abscesses in my spine... and they diagnosed me with fibromalgia... and I have no treatment. And for many years I have been walking hunched/I have currents in my hands and hand paresis - contractures... No I have no life... because I have a bad diagnosis 😭 and no one wants to treat me with FIBRO... my life has been ruined 😭😭😭😭😭😭💔😭💔😭💔😭

@@pardeepsofat1979 Started walking after 2 days in the hospital and after 1 week i came home. Few days after that, I fell down at home and lost confidence and spent 2 months in bed. After that, my physio pushed me to walk and by the third month I was walking with a stick. You have to push yourself. It will hurt but keep walking and you can heal fully. Now I run and ride my bicycle regularly.
