This is hands down your best video I’ve ever watched!!! Great case to spotlight. 5stars. I’m at the point and my neurologist/pots expert also believes we need to reboot our system. How, that’s the million dollar question. I’ve offered myself if a case study ever came up to be put into a medical death close to the edge obviously I would have to sign some serious paperwork but I would be willing to do this and hopefully brought back to see what the results would be. The medical community does this for irregular heart beats so why not with a Pots patient like myself that’s older but willing to try almost anything to help myself and the entire Pots/medical community.

I can relate to a lot of those symptoms, which started back in 2022 for me, and my functional neurology docs did similar therapies to help me get better. I'm now 90-95% better.

Why not 86 percent or 100 percent
@becky6598Ай бұрын
@@theunluckycharm9637 Uhh....I was 86 percent better at one point and I kept getting better. I suppose it'll keep going til 100.

Absolutely on point with the type of de-conditioning that happens ! I had same experience over time with long covid - starting out very muscular , strong , fit and healthy and the initial de-conditioning took 8 months before I finally just collapsed into all the symptoms ( felt like a had a small stroke .) I have shared many of the symptoms from this patient .

I started with almost all of those symptoms. Almost fainting while driving, then came all the other symptoms. I wish I was able to come visit your office. But I greatly appreciate all your videos. They are helpful.

This sounds so much like what I need but not sure if possible to find close to me. Would you mind doing a video on potential causes of a tight collar feeling in long virus folks? Its something I’ve had mildly but recently ramped up, and sometimes seems to hinder swallowing or breathing in

Hi Dr. Are there any exercices that tend to work for most POTS cases?

Fantastic! I’m using the neuro 20 suit also in my clinic for patients with dysautonomia. What is your protocol (how often did this patient use the suit and for how many minutes)?
@BenjaminComan-c2b2 ай бұрын

I actually caught this on video for myself with the driving issues. I was formerly hospice homecare and I had to drive to each person and it just got increasingly way more difficult to now I can no longer drive at all. Anyway, I noticed on several occasions my physical responses bc I had to pull over and wait until it passed w symptom management. I could barely put pressure on the gas pedal w/o uncontrollable muscle twitching of my whole leg. Seriously the progression of this is wild and the difference from being just hEDS(well self managed) to long covid snowball of worsening comorbidities quickly is concerning.

I can't help but think that one of the reasons people took this kid seriously is because he was a kid. I've been seeking help for 5 years now and I think that because I am over 50 and female, I have just been dismissed over and over again while things just keep getting worse. This is all helpful information, but if you can't find a provider who will address anything or solve the puzzle, then you're basically left on your own with no recourse and no hope.😢

This happens to me after a really bad case of strep throat. And I stayed that way for a few years. My heart rate was high for years, and I would shoot up to 150 for no reason. Vertigo, couldn't even ride in a car. I would shiver and have goosebumps when it was 85 degrees. Then, it's profuse sweating for no sweating reason. I lost like 30lbs and the doctor diagnosed me with depression 🥳 and I was hospitalized with MDD. While hospitalized my blood pressure kept dropping dangerously low while I was asleep. They wouldn't actually look into it because it wasn't a mental health problem. I eventually improved, but I never got back to my old self. I can't exercise without getting sick. Im still sensitive to the heat. I figured out on my own that somehow my ANS was damaged. I assume from that strep infection or the really high fever it caused.

Have POTS & now have also brain surgery related BI & autonomic problems from SI nerve damage and Syringomyelia. It's frustrating to have to endlessly educate medical staff, including specialists, in this condition, dangerous autonomic reflexia bouts, and medication/treatment. Even internists/neuros tinker with meds when stable without asking yet not experienced with it. Also, spouse is a Doc. Any suggestions on how to speak better Doctor-ese? As familiar as I am with my conditions, and have to be for safety, can't always reach them, most commonly in Physical Rehab! Last hospital experience led to extended deconditioning imposed C19 isolation for 14 DAYS and the mishandling caused me endless health crises. It is very difficult to get spouse there except after hours. Thanks!
