@@CasebackWatches Dear Tim, I know that you will never be able to get one in your lightbox, but: How about doing a show on the watches of 'George Daniels' and his protege, 'Roger Smith', the best watchmakers of the last 100 years. Surely this would inspire true enthusiasts. Btw. Daniels invented the Omega Co-axial movement, which he designed, and made every piece by hand. Omega started using it when the patent ran out. This is the best horological story since 'John Harrison'. Daniels only made 30+ watches in his lifetime (about one a year). Smith makes about 10 a year.

Nice to see you checked out this fab watch from my local city (NYC) Tim. I placed an order literally the week they launched it and it still has lots of wrist time. A versatile piece and it successfully rocks the vintage vibe. Mine is the black gilt version.

Got a black and gilt version, agree that bracelet doesn’t quite work (which isn’t a view shared by a lot of reviewers) and it works much better on leather as a sort of smart casual watch

Nice watch. More watches should fit acrylic, if you aren't fitting sapphire it looks much better than mineral glass and pretty easy to keep looking good.

👍 2 Lorier, Tim! Well done, ménage-a-homage: Rolex 6538 Sub with no-date / gilt dial and hands; vintage Seamaster sword hands and thin bezel; ubiquitous Seiko squared-links in a jingly-jangly bracelet.

That stretchy strap is a French Marine Nationale or Parachute strap. They were originally crafted from - parachute parts. Quite trendy now. I‘d post a useful link but don’t want it to get blocked.

A really very good looking watch and the plexiglass looks good. Very good timekeeping too. My only criticism is that more serious divers like myself would stay away from watches without the standard minute markers to 20 minutes on the bezel, if they are going on a deeper dive, but markers would probably take away from the design aesthetic of this piece which does make it a fashion diver to some extent, and there's nothing wrong with that as many don't buy dive watches to dive anyway. I'd definitely buy it as a casual piece myself, it's very refined and looks more expensive than it is.
