DESCRIPTION
The Burgate house was a secluded mansion on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, England. It was 8:30 pm, on the 1st of September 1986. The residents had just finished dinner and were about to enjoy dessert.
And that’s when three men wearing stocking masks and armed with a shotgun and pick axes burst into the dining room…

Amazing how quickly these horrific crimes were solved. But the stupid judge's sentencing was lenient grossly lenient. It should have been life never to be released and throw away the key. Perth Western Australia.

What is the point of multiple life sentences if they can be served concurrently and have a potential for release in as little as 20 years? There are non violent people still in prison serving longer sentences for using or possessing drugs, including pot. There are political parties which given the choice , would likely sentence people to the same or longer for not wearing a mask or choosing to go unvaccinated. Ironically, it's those same people who lobby the hardest against capital punishment, and even incarceration. In fact I'll bet some will respond to this comment to explain why killers like this deserve sympathy and respect while those who wish to decide what is done to their own bodies deserve nothing of the sort.. The men who perpetrated this quadruple murder/robbery aggravated by rape torture and arson stand to be released while still in their early forties. That leaves them decades of prime killing and mayhem to look forward to..

These days 20 years is nothing, considering how fast time goes. Taking a life has never meant so little as it does these days. Sickening, if not evil, to dismiss such demonic terror. And sentences should never be concurrent....what's the point of killing one, might as well kill 5.....according to criminal mentality. Part of the addiction to true crime is that you want to see justice done, especially for the victim & their loved ones. Among other reasons, I see a lack of responsibility on the part of many judges.....who I believe are evil and compromised themselves.

Trying to comprehend the fact that anyone would plead guilty to sexual assault during a home invasion robbery resulting in the murders of five people but not guilty to the other charges. The law is different in the United States where all persons involved in a violent crime which results in murder are equally guilty of murder irrelevant of their individual actions. None of the men should ever have been eligible for release.
