Could someone please tell me what he uses to thin his paint. He obviously paints a diluted mixture wet on wet, and turpentine dries so quickly! I would be very pleased if someone could just tell me what is used!

Obviously I am quite into Casey Baugh's style of painting and am so grateful for any extra insight into his work. I only wish the south of England was a tad closer to Los Angeles then I might just get to one of his demos! My thanks again to whoever posted the link.

Realizing it cant be shipped outside US, the contents are: 1/3 linseed stand, 1/3 damar, 1/3 triple refined/distilled turp. - just like John Singer Sargent's medium... so I hear.

Ive heard that black oil is superior to linseed... Not many people even offer black oil, as the process is dangerous, held just under boiling in lead for 3 days.

Oil. You cannot do a painting like that with acrylic. It dries to fast.
