This is my first intro to this guy and I was absolutely captivated by him, his story, his hustle/grind, sincerity, passion and genuine likability. I Was listening while driving to the cancer center to sit w/my mom during chemo and he made me “feel” ready to deal with the day. This is by far one of my favorite episodes. Much love to the Flagrant crew for bringing him on and allowing the story to be told w/out the antics. ❤❤❤

By far the funniest guest in a while. It's crazy, the times I laugh the most isn't when there are comedians as guests. Also, probably one of the most inspirational episode of Flagrant history. I have a 2 year old son with my GF and even though I am poor as shit, I am grateful that me or my kid doesn't have to struggle the way Casey did or the struggle that I went through when I moved to a foreign country at 7 years old with just my mom. That being said, his passion as a creator is incredible, and it should come to no surprise that a person so devoted to the art would eventually find success in their path, no matter their starting circumstances.

One of my favorite videos of Casey's was one of his more recent, about 8 months ago, "We Moved Back to New York City,'" where he filmed his journey back to NY, leaving his place in Santa Monica. His music and sound design is extra great in that one. At 5 min 26 with family, then again at 6 min 26 with the theme of "home" and the fit of the lego shot.. with overhead drone shots over the city of his moving truck driving away to start the journey -- all to the great music editing. All of the state border signs, moments along the way, and ending of course in NYC. It was one of Casey's best journey videos, and he's made some great ones. It was packed with so much meaning/emotion. I recently drove a portion of one of the same highway he did by the way, when I moved across country just a few weeks ago. I wish I had filmed my journey.

For me its an honor to watch a podcast with my favourite comedian Andrew schulz interviewing my last and only watched vlogger on KZbin back in time , Casey neistat. Casey was one of the truly unique youtube vloggers, where I watched every single video, and was so interested in his story telling and also being one of few in my school that knew who he was. His channel was for me like a hidden TV show that was just awesome but no one knew it by time. Now, I think much much more people know him by appearance , but not in his vlogging era. Thank you for your effort to entertain my life with crazy random videos and storytelling, but also just giving my life a pinch of salt to enjoy, like you do with music, movies, etc.
