@15:15 you bring in four lights: 2 kickers, a dome, and a disk light. Being half (to maybe full blooded) noobian at this I looked for those lights under Davinci Resolve's "3D / Light" and "USD / Light" folders - I see "uDisk Light" and "uDome Light" but I don't see a Kicker light... ...I'm guessing it is one of the other lights (ie uCylinder, uDisk, uDistant, uDome, uRectangle, uSphere, Ambient, Directional, Point, Spot) that you hand crafted via twizzle twiddle sparkle adjustments. What is the base light you started with, and maybe some of the twiddle twozzens you tweaked? You say the kicker light is placed behind the subject at an angle but when you have the kicker light node selected (@18:25) the circle showing the light looks like it is in front of the letters - the circular line, that I think represents the light's "Shaping Cone Angle," appears to be over the top of the letter "S".

Totally impressed with your tutorials but as a newbie I am wondering which mouse you use and does it need configering to zoom pan and everything else you do whizzing the screens in Fusion. I have a Mac and am using a simple roller ball and can get no control whatsoever in any of the screens! TC

Hi Casey. I apologize for asking a somewhat unrelated question, I tried to update to Resolve 19 from the "Update" menu option in my Resolve 18.6. It gave me a couple error msg boxes during download/install, but finished install. I restarted computer 3 times. Now, Resolve 19 "Loading ***** " window comes up, goes away, then . . . nothing at all! I tried to reinstall Resolve 19 from scratch, but it says "newer version" is already there and to remove it in control panel. I'm assuming "uninstall Program" is what it is meaning. I'm afraid to do that before I copy the project files from where Davinci Resolve normally stores them (not sure which folder or what file extension to look for) to a non-Davinci Resolve folder in case the uninstall/reinstall "from scratch" option erases the project folder contents. Any advice?

You do realize you can watch them on your own time? No pressure. Whereas I do appreciate the opportunity to watch them down my Watch Later playlist, giving Casey more session time and sending a positive flag to KZbin's algorithm. Unsubscribing over something as trivial as that, something *YOU* can avoid by simply not clicking on the video, is quite the grandstanding.
