I hope everything works well for him. I love Ben's answer- we've all got some screws loose 😅😅 Always glad to see your buddies- great guys all. Always enjoy the good natured bsing you guys do. Insurance adjuster once said after he looked at it, he could care less what was removed because the extras were not included in the adjustment. So those tires, the camper shell, rooftop tent, bumpers etc, come off if he does not buy it back to help recover some of his losses.
@cbg4662
@cbg4662 4 ай бұрын
Depends on your agent & whether they will go to bat for you with claims or if you're willing to go toe to toe with claims. Receipts for those tires (depending on age) and receipts for other upgrades all support for your arguments.

I've got my extras covered by my insurance. As I get more items, I add the necessary insurance so I get back what I lost. Allstate does this for WAY less than MANY other companies.

Great video I too was a Toyota owner at one time. Mine had 350K miles on it and would never die. I got rid of mine cause mine was a smaller pickup and if you have ever owned a smaller pickup they are totally useless when you need to haul things. So couldn't take it any longer and got a big boy truck. I say buy that truck back and chop the top off, get a pair of goggles and make a fun truck out of it. Have a great week Casey. Can't wait for the next video.

the rest of the world does just fine towing with cars and what america calls small pick-ups .unless it's huge weight ,a full size american pick-up just isn't needed. our old defender towed around 5500lbs i think, but the volvo estate hauled not a lot less. most people i know who don't do lot's of towing ,just their boat in the summer or a car trailer when they go to a track ,do it with a car.

Our son drives a 1987 4 Runner that his late aunt bought new and has made its way through various family members. We gave him our 2003 Sienna van we bought new (300,000+ miles now) and said sell it , keep the money. More than one year later he still has it because his wife wanted to keep it. I’m on my second 4 Runner, gave my 2017 to our daughter and son-in-law so he had a better driver. My husband has a 2007 FJ Cruiser, stick shift, and a 2019 Sequoia. Years ago we had a Camry and my husband’s first vehicle before I knew him was a Toyota Hilux, 1972 I think. Yes we love our Toyotas.

That's just irresponsible! Hah. I try to avoid it because I have cracked plenty of silver sockets, but haven't twisted an extension yet. My new 1/2 inch air gun might do it, but time will tell. There's always the right tool for the job, and even those sometimes fail. So run what you have until it breaks and improvise from there. There's always a couple adjustable hammers in my rigs. They're very useful if you're creative enough.

I enjoy watching.. better than tv anyway. You know it takes one of you guys to hold the bulb, two to spins the ladder and one to find the bad bulb first. Pays to have good friends . I totaled my Jeep but just replaceable body parts. So I bought it back savage and got the check for the Jeep. Found parts in Walbash and fixed it back up , drove it for 5 years more. Then frame broke and I sold it parted out and made another 1500… 260,000 miles on it when it was sold and the guy started it and drove it home, slowly because of the frame. Motor ran great. I had 20 years of fun in it.oh with the checks from the insurance paid for all the parts to fix it, soils doors with roll up windows, a fiberglass top,roll bar and hood. Two tanks of gas and 5 new tires. And a pizza. I walked away from the wreck and was even able to drive it home.

At 24:42, you were headed off to the driver's seat of the Western Star. Next second, you are driving off. I will assume you looked in the mirror and saw that the right rear Zaklift door was still open, because it was closed when you got to Ben's place. I loved the way Ben's dog barked at you until he/she figured out who you were! After that, you were in danger of being licked to death- and there is nothing wrong with that!

Cool to see the series 3. All the farmers I know buy shop boxes and they fall apart within a year until they started buying the series 2. Truck boxes are multitudes more expensive. I will say that my Series 2 72 inch bottom chest and 56 inch top chest have been excellent. I try to buy American made as often as I can. Heck, I just spent $24 a piece on American made magnetic hide a keys. They're the cutest little pelican boxes you've ever seen. That aside, I flat out couldn't afford a tool truck top chest, let alone a 72 inch roller chest. If you don't need to move the box a lot the US General Series 2 and probably 3 is a good buy. They're pretty solid and I'd rather spend the money I've saved to fill the box. Thanks for the video Casey, good work as always.

At least you 'hateToyotas' for the right reason, Casey! They 'just don't quit!'.. Since the '70s I've owned and driven 8 Toyota pickups, everything from their early small 4x4 pickups, to a custom built off-road Gen-3 2016 DC 3.5L 4x4 Tacoma, which I rarely drove and recently sold because I like driving my Gen-1 2003 DC 3.4L SR-5 4x4 off-road Tacoma a lot more! Older Toyota pickups, properly taken care of, are about as 'bullet proof' a vehicle as you'll ever find. So 'Yes!', if you depend on other's vehicles breaking down or being unable to handle back country tasks reliably and having to call for 'Help', ..Toyotas certainly wouldn't be among your favorites! The banged up Tundra you towed, rough looking as it is right now, would still get the job done if its front window was removed so the driver could see. I've watched videos of Toyota pickups that looked like they come through a battle, bent and broken front to rear, but still able to get themselves back to civilization under their own power, and depending on their owner's situation continue to serve as reliable work trucks in spite of having taken a severe beating. Done my best over the years to avoid putting my Toyota pickups in situations they're not designed for. But it's nice knowing they're built to handle whatever comes their way!..

I have a 1997 Lexus lx450 gold fj80. It has 260,000 miles on the 4.5 in-line six, the engine, transmission, and some components are still brand new. There has never been a recall on this vehicle. Also have a 2005 Camry xle. It’s sad to see now how much Toyota has s… down there customer’s throats in the last two years, especially with the tundra and Tacoma. Completely unbelievable

Turn the Toyota truck into a convertible top install a roll cage then install a soft top on it n haul butt with it. A soft top roof would be sick

I'll buy a Yota... when they make a smaller Hino diesel & stick it in a Tundra HD or something... surprised they haven't tapped the HD market yet!
