Don't overthink your role with your adult child. Be around, hang out, call and check on him from time to time, invite him to family stuff and gatherings, joke with him, try to relate to him as another adult, tell your opinion, give advice, let him know that you support him no matter what etc. Seems like you're doing good as a father to an adult.

As a dad to a 10 month old, I can already feel the dread coming up a bit of when our girl flies out and we become "less of a parent" in the sense that she finds her own path and we kind of just have to let her figure things out for herself. Obviously we can't really analyze your parenting from a few quick clips, but the first idea I get is that you're just there giving him the right example of hard work while showing him you're interested in his life and want to spend time with him. .... our baby girl is sleeping at the moment but I think I'm going to just hover over her crib for a bit

Casey telling people how to use that Chinese spy app TikTok with a vpn was pathetic. At least he got paid handsomely.

Casey neistat feels a bit like Jon Stewart now- ruled the game for years and now sort of just pops up and hangs out with us for a little while, making our days a little bit better

Militaru Cristian He used to host the the Daily show on comedy network. He’s really good friends with Stephan Colbert. The Daily show ended, and he since hasn’t had a public facing job or role but sometimes comes on Stephan’s late night show or on other shows.

OMG - I couldn't agree more. My son is 36 and I'm 57 - I don't really know how to still be parent to him. He doesn't need anything from in the material sense - he's done well for himself. I suppose just being there for him emotionally is my job now.
