Most electric cars have smaller wing mirrors because the designers are still struggling to find the best size and shape for them. With an electric motor producing basically no noise it makes the wind noise from air rushing over the car much more noticeable and the wing mirrors is where that is exaggerated most. Some cars even redesigned their headlights to push the air around the wing mirrors. Thought it would help if Candice understood why the mirrors were poorly designed haha

I think its also aerodynamics which is always important but with a car that's limited on range based on electricty and every bit of drag coefficient they can drop they do to help extend range.

I seriously doubt that’s the reason for the mirrors, it’s more likely for aerodynamics. Range of an electric car is mostly dependent on aerodynamics and ever bit counts, hence tiny mirrors.
