Literal goosebumps! I'm a 36 year old man just now starting to learn the art of turntablism. It's never to late to do what makes you feel fulfilled in life. This old Cash Money clip inspires me to the fullest and when I get deeper into this hobby of mine, I would love to try, learn and experiment with old school technique like this! Sure, I love me some industrial, IBDM, and EDM, but this style has held a special place in my heart for the longest! That Get Down ending was amazing!!! Hope everyone is staying safe out there and spending quality time with their loved ones!

@discobiscuit: I’ve bought my first Gemini 2channel mixer after his victory in 1988. In Italy there were very few news about turntablism, almost near zero, and when I saw the sleeve of his first album, with that “Barbie-mixer” showed, I’ve immediately thought “this one have to be mine”! And it’s still with me today, half cracked and with some age problems; I’m 52 now and when I watch these videos I’m still surprised bout how ahead he was on these techniques at that time! Wonderful!

I had to buy two Bigger and Deffer lp's put WD40 on the crossfader and would cut the plastic sleeves out in circles to make the records slide smooth. This stuff is really Fresh! Oh the memories.
