My favorite routine. I miss these days. No button pushing. Just highly technical talent. Seeing him switch records constantly instead of punching cue points is so much more engaging. Sorry new school.

I agree this is just classically amazing and talented and just so good and nostalgic to watch but to take away from the very talented djs and artists today isn’t very fair cuz it may not be the same kind of complicated but it’s also very complicated and technical and they’re also very talented individuals who make amazing music. 🔥

The problem now is its too technical and it goes over peoples heads craze said this himself, its not the tech fault its the way dj build there routines that is the problem most of them go with more is more but if they toned it down a bit so every gets what they are doing and understands it then people will think it's dope, that why he was so good, he doesn't do anything too technical he just makes sure it sounds dope and breaks it down so anybody watching gets what he is doing

DJing, beat juggling, mixing and scratching is an art form that has no boundaries! Today’s technology allows the DJ to perform with the greatest of ease but, when I look back at a performance like this it reminds me of how it all got started, and the mind blowing skills someone had to have just to put on a performance like this, without the aid of today’s technology! This was absolutely magnificent!

What I love about this routine is the very beginning with Craze calling out all the dj's copying his style. The Michael Jordan of turntablelism. Out of all his performances I have to say the 1998 DMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is what really started it. He came equipped with an arsenal of tricks up his sleeves. It seems that he never makes mistakes. Took it to another level with his hand speed on the pitch and rpm.He's versatile with his left and right when it comes to scratching. His choice in records when he's dissing you to start the performance is on point. He's cocky but very very confident with the will and the determination to win. Like any talent he learned from the pioneers and took all the remedies and created his own style. He made made dj's nervous and wanna quit when he was on stage. The very best in my opinion THE 3 TIME DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPION "DJ CrAzE".
@2spee3 жыл бұрын
All is said! Yeah, using 1mn of the 6' set each year to spread the lesson (plus , winning each year, it takes all sense 😆), plus so much confidence and looks so easy for him, plus tricks that NOBODY DID , DO OR WILL DO during this 3 years of undebatable championship. Michael Jordan of turntablism , fosho fosho 🏆🏆🏆

The most incredible thing about Craze is not that he never makes mistakes, it is that any slight mistake he makes or any time the needle or deck lets him down he just freestyles over it, bodges it splendidly and makes it even better than it would have been.
