Ive also been doing my own nails since Covid. Takes me a while, but love that I do them MY way! And an efile is the best investment!

I do my own nails at home i started during covid...i never did/had my nails before and i JUMPED OFF THE DEEPEND. I use dip powder bc im allergic to gel. When youre doing them at home make sure you clean your cuticles/skin really well to remove the base/top coat so when you cure you arent curing it into your skin leading to an allergy. Just starting out i would try the melody suzie hand drill...the bits you're given are for manicures not for gel removal. I would just wrap you nails to do the removal vs using the drill to prevent nail bed damage. You can soak your current acrylic layer off at home. Take a hand file to your current overlay file off the top coat, warm up rice in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, while that is warming up pour acetone & some oil in a baggie and add a paper towel. Place the baggie in the bowl of rice (do not mix them ;)) allow your nails to soak for about 5-7 mins than you can use the paper towl to scrub the remaining acrylic. You may need to reheat your rice for the 2nd hand or place on a heating pad for a heat source. Ok hopin off my soap box lmao❤❤❤❤

Another great video Jen 👍🏽 Question: What happens when you go to Target for example, you end of getting groceries and household items in the same run? Do you take money from both categories, or do separate transactions? I’m currently trying to brainstorm the best way to organize my categories. Debating if I should go the groceries or household route, or would it be better to do a store category like Target or Walmart. All thoughts and suggestions are welcomed! So happy to BEE apart of this hive 🎉🐝 Thank you!
@2SisterBees4 ай бұрын
You know, it’s ironic that you asked this - April & I were just discussing this and I said to her - “They probably wonder why I don’t really have a “Household” envelope. “ I should probably mention this on a video- I really don’t buy a lot for what is considered “Household” I buy 2 cleaners - window spray and comet bleach cleaner - both from Sam’s and last FOREVER. Laundry detergent - same thing. Huge jugs and I use a quarter of the cup they include. Dish cleaners - large size from Sam’s as well and only do super FULL loads. Basically everything is from Sam’s, I squeeze uses out of everything and limit what I buy to absolute necessities. If you have a Sam’s or Costco - I highly recommend going to one of them for these products. I also like your idea of an envelope JUST for that category. That way you can see what you are buying, how often and maybe adjust usage or even look for alternatives - if you see you are going through something more than you’d like. Good job on looking for solutions. You’re doing a great thing! 💛💛💛

Hey Jenn. Can you cut the longer lashes to the length you want? Would that work?
@2SisterBees4 ай бұрын
Idk.. I may be able to. Maybe I could cut those down. I should just send them to my daughter - she likes the longer lashes.
@shellymackey2394 ай бұрын
@@2SisterBees either way, you would be using all of them instead of just some. If cutting them doesn't work, then your not out anything.

Are you on a fixed income? I’m a nurse and get paid biweekly. So my income varies.
@2SisterBees3 ай бұрын
Our income has always varied, as well. You can still budget. You will need to average out your base pay. I’m pretty sure I go over how to do this in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2jYlHyibrJ6qZIsi=mfkMINQNe9I86vT5 I hope this helps you💛

@@2SisterBees thank you so much! I printed out your beginners freebies on your website! -I’m was asking if your income varies because in the video while cash stuffing you would state, “blank gets $25 every month, my dog gets this every month”. Which is what lead me to think you were on a fixed income. So it threw me off 😂 thank you for replying!!!
@2SisterBees3 ай бұрын
No, not fixed. I do try to keep amounts the same to keep me on track but you know- life be life-ing sometimes. 😂
