I also get paid bi-weekly. I do 3 things to keep me motivated. First, I split the money I set aside for savings challenges (SC) from each paycheck in half so that I'm able to play weekly. 2nd, I do lower dollar SCs so that I have more "wins" more quickly which also allows me to play more SC simultaneously. 3rd, I play with my husband so we make it a game night for the both of us.

I have my husband put $100 every paycheck in the safe. I also stuff all my 5’s and 1’s in a jar. Once he started seeing the pile of cash appearing in the safe he got on board instead of laughing at me saying that’s pizza money. He kept asking to spend the cash and I said no, it’s for emergencies. On 12/31 he pulled it all out of the safe and I pulled all my 1’s and 5’s out of the jars. We, I say losely saved $5300 in cash. What he doesn’t know was that I was also dropping cash in my HYSA.

$5 is good! 🙌 I used to never drink red wine and a friend insisted I try this one. I really didn’t want it but she was convinced I would like it. She was right! It’s really the best red wine I’ve had- and I’ve tried a lot of different kinds. I live in wine country over here- vineyards everywhere. This $10 bottle beats them all!

$22 today. I think that's a good plan. I write my amount down when I play and color the letter when I pay it. Clearly, you can't do that since you have to wait for our totals 😂 For a budget binder I used an old happy planner and I print my own inserts. An A5 binder would probably be nice too

Hi Jen, happy New Year. I got $21.00 on hello honey. Thanks for another great video. I would have been debt-free this month but life happened and my 2024 started on a sad 😢 note (funeral) and had to pay a portion of the funeral cost of a loved one but I will soon be debt-free by mid-February which is 5 months before the expected deadline. This year (2024), I decided to put together a book of savings challenges. I have the envelopes all together. I work on the challenges and put them aside when they are finished.
