My wedding was about $2500. It was outdoors in the morning. My mom made my dress. A friend made the cake. Another friend did the photography. We had brunch at the reception. It was a perfect day.

that sounds a lot like my wedding it cost about $2500. It was in my aunt‘s backyard. My mom made my wedding dress and all of the other dresses in the wedding. My work donated the cake and the food we rented the chairs and tents and my husband‘s tux

​@@savewithjudy My grandma could grow big, beautiful plants, flowers not so much. Her back porch was covered in potted ferns & spider plant (not sure on actual name? Her "flower" beds in the front of the house never unalived. She "planted" fake flowers. Lol. She also lived in Florida so the sun was not kind to the front beds. She tried to teach me how to grow her plants, nope. Lol.

Definitely buy a home. There are people who let FOMO (fear of missing out)strain them financially when it comes to weddings. They feel like they have to keep up with their friends who are getting married. It's not necessary. They'll be crying for that money later on when they actually need it.
