Stacy, Thank you for being an inspiration to easy healthy meals. I appreciate it more than you know. As I recreate this dish, I am adding bean sprouts for different texture. Just sharing. Hope you are well😊 Respectfully. Xie Xie

Have you ever heard of Springfield Cashew Chicken. I grew up in Springfield, MO and it is really popular there. It almost was voted into law as the state food. I found a copy cat recipe for it online but would love to see you make it and get a few tips if you know how to make it.
@omarmarrero3341Ай бұрын
You can't mention the copy cat recipe and not share it? 😅
@matthewwwadeАй бұрын
@@omarmarrero3341 I can’t give it the credit that it deserves but what I do is buy breaded frozen chicken tenders that I bake in the oven and about three minutes before it’s done I throw some cashews in with it and for the gravy I buy the canned chicken gravy and add oyster and soy sauce to it and serve it over rice.

Nice dish as I've made similar. However due to allergies, I had to omit the cashews or any type of peanut and sesame oil. I've been cooking Chinese foods for 9 years and my family, friends and guests loves it.

Hi Stacy! Thank you for all these wonderful recipes! I have a question for you, what do you think about adding msg when you cook. Does it bring more flavour to the dish? Kind regards, InnaK
@COOKSTACEYCOOKАй бұрын
You can definitely add a little msg. It will make the dish more tasty.

Do you rinse off the baking soda?
@COOKSTACEYCOOKАй бұрын
The amount of baking soda we use here is minute. So there is really nothing to rinse off.

Thought we’re supposed to cut meat against the grain?
@COOKSTACEYCOOKАй бұрын
We cut across the grain for beef, pork, lamb, etc. But for chicken, we cut along the grain for better texture and to prevent the meat from breaking apart during stir fry.

I’m curious about how it’s different from what you expected or have tried. There are 8 regional cuisines in China… I lived in San Fransisco for years and this is essentially the same as what was served in several restaurants we frequented.

Same recipe format / method again. Just changing the ingredients each time. Seems that Cook Stacy Cook can only make 1 dish and vary up the ingredients, which is now boring for the viewer. Time to unsub!
