It's usually in other cornstarch types of videos. People will go around & see if people forgot to check the reject slot. Alot of times there will be silver coins with the other rejects

I go to the nearest laundromat and search their coins then return them to my bank. I’m looking for the American Woman coins and any from ‘65 through’89. The ‘65’s through’89 are popular birthday dates. Happy hunting fellow coin collectors.

Even if you don't check for silver, doesn't the machine automatically kick out any silver coins because of the weight?

That’s a good question, I would think you are right about that!

@@toplinethriftfind A silver quarter is slightly heavier than our current clad coins, but not enough to get rejected by the machine. When the government switched to clad coinage in 1965 they ran hundreds if not thousands of tests to ensure the new coins would work in the machines that formerly took the silver coins.
