Watch videos from pretty much any of his channels and then watch one from The Casual Criminalist. There is a substantial difference, at least to me, and the editor of that channel is doing something wrong, because none of Simon's other channels have any issues with audio. Maybe, it is a creative choice to make the videos feel a bit more creepy.

The constant light flashing between bright cream and black makes it almost impossible for me to watch, even though I really want to; it just triggers my migraines almost instantly. I really like the show, but I've tried watching multiple episodes, even trying to just close my eyes and listen, but the flashing is just too much for me to handle. I didn't think about the fact that the audio might also be part of the issue, as I don't remember how bad my tinnitus became because I was too focused on getting to stop my migraines from escalating. 😟 Normally Simon provides a wonderful escape from my innumerable health issues, and The Casual Criminalist actually fits my entertainment interests almost perfectly, which just makes the fact that it is too painful to watch a huge disappointment. 😔

I feel obligated to buy this t-shirt, since Simon is announcing it on my 21st birthday. Especially since I've been watching this channel for a few months now, and get most of the inside jokes, because I watch back episodes. My dog seems to enjoy Simon as well. When Simon was on the TV he would sleep, but other shows made an agitated, he would bark incessantly at the screen at other, seemingly similar programs. I remain unsure if it is is the British accent or the rather plain screen, but he did find Simon amenable during the time in which anything else we tried to watch turn him into a barking frenzy.

I know, I do think he was kidding haha. Although, there is a conspiracy theory, within a conspiracy theory... and that theory is that FBI/CIA i duno, actively make up ridiculous conspiracy theories so that people will dismiss all conspiracies as crazy and senseless. So, im being serious here though, like there was a man who took a video of a UFO and the following day EVERY news station was sent a script, with the same wording, which they all repeated, and that made the video shooter look like a crazy conspiracy theorist which if you believed you would too sound crazy! There's a video on KZbin of that report on the news, and they sync up the script of at least 16 different news networks across the USA and it is all the exact same script... so, you come to your own conclusion.

The president can only pardon crimes against the federal government itself. Though he can bypass the committee that usually approves those things. Basically accepting a pardon has the effect of confessing that you are guilty of all charges but you want to get out of jail this time. It's basically just a fancy probation for people who have committed crimes against the government but not the people directly. The person is still on record as effectively having confessed to committing the crime for which they were pardoned. That's why people are free to refuse a pardon. It just restores some of their rights, doesn't make the crime go away. And you wouldn't want to end up back in Federal court for anything if you've ever been pardoned before. So it's not quite as crazy as it seems. Just means the president doesn't think they deserve to be punished quite as much as they are or that they have learned their lesson. Or just wants his friends out of jail. But fwiw I doubt many people who get presidential pardons become repeat offenders. I expect that's how you get all the books thrown at you.
